10-hour OSHA General Industry Course -- Virtual Training
Workers are provided with general awareness about recognizing and preventing hazards commonly found in the workplace. OSHA recommends this training as an orientation to occupational safety and health. This course is intended for entry-level workers. The 10-hour Hazard Awareness Course provides basic awareness training on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of workplace hazards. Workers can receive additional training on hazards specific to their job. Ten hours of mandatory and optional topics will be covered. OSHA Training Institute will issue course completion cards to each student. Students wanting to teach others the curriculum must take the OSHA 511 and OSHA 501.
